July 17, 2001 MobileSys and Remedy have joined forces to give the help desk a wireless push.
The technology alliance, announced last week, will allow the help desk to communicate with remote personnel via real-time wireless alerts over a global network. It will also provide the integration of mission-critical wireless capabilities into current help-desk platforms.
MobileSys and Remedy currently share more than 20 common customers, including EDS, Enron, Compaq, Levi Strauss, Lockheed Martin and Merrill Lynch.
As part of the joint agreement, MobileSys integrated its MX messaging platform into the Remedy Action Request System. Remedy (www.remedy.com) is a leading supplier of Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solutions.
